1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of car hire and travel services provided by Fair Travel & Tours. By booking a vehicle or tour with us, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. Booking & Payment

• A valid identification document (passport, driver’s license, or national ID) is required for all bookings.
• Reservations should be made in advance and are subject to vehicle availability.
• A deposit may be required to confirm a booking, with the balance due before the rental period begins.
• Payment can be made via cash, bank transfer, or approved digital payment platforms.
• Rates are subject to change without prior notice but will not affect confirmed bookings.

3. Rental Terms

• Vehicles are rented on a daily or contractual basis.
• A rental day consists of 24 hours from the time of pickup.
• Late returns may incur additional charges.
• Vehicles should be returned in the same condition as received.
• No smoking is allowed inside the vehicles.
• The renter is responsible for any traffic violations incurred during the rental period.

4. Insurance & Liability

• Vehicles are insured for third-party liability and accidental damage.
• The renter is responsible for any damage due to negligence or violation of traffic laws.
• In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately report to Fair Travel & Tours and local authorities.
• Personal belongings are not covered by the company’s insurance policy.

5. Chauffeur Services

• Chauffeur-driven services are available at an additional cost.
• Our drivers are professionally trained and certified.
• Clients should provide a schedule in advance to avoid delays.

6. Fuel Policy

• Any shortfall will be charged to the renter.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the rental period may qualify for a partial refund.
• No refunds will be provided for last-minute cancellations or no-shows.
• Amendments to booking dates are subject to availability.

8. Corporate & Long-Term Rentals

• Special rates apply for corporate clients and long-term rentals.
• A contract will be signed for corporate and long-term agreements.
• Monthly payments must be made as per the agreement.

9. Customer Responsibilities

• Renters must ensure the proper use of the vehicle.
• Any unauthorized repairs or modifications are strictly prohibited.
• Fair Travel & Tours reserves the right to recall the vehicle in cases of misuse.

10. Force Majeure
Fair Travel & Tours shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or unforeseen emergencies.

11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Zambia.

Fair Travel & Tours reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. By continuing to use our services, you agree to any revisions made.
